Denver tonight. 📍

We’re in the classroom for I68 Academic Day, bringing the foundation of defensive shooting to the Front Range.

We hold Academic Day in Denver once a month so those in and around the Denver area only have to make one trip south—straight to the I68 Training Facility in the Colorado Springs area—for range day. Less travel. More focus. Better training.

This is where we cover mindset, safety, legal considerations, and the why behind everything we do on the range. Then we take it outside and put it to work.

Love looks a little different at I68 ❤️

This isn’t roses and chocolates.
It’s time on the range, shared experiences, and learning to move together under a little pressure.

The I68 Valentine’s Day Showdown is about couples and singles showing up, having fun, and building something real—confidence, connection, and a few great memories along the way. Singles are absolutely invited.

This event is ONLY for the I68 Family—a chance to bring your significant other, come solo, or just spend time with people who train together and look out for one another.

The last two weeks I had the opportunity to work in support of the Navy. It was extremely cold—one of those environments that reminds you quickly whether you still care about the work. Turns out, I do. A lot.

Being back around JTACs and Close Air Support training lit a fire I didn’t realize was still burning. Helping refine decision-making, communication, and ex*****on in complex environments reminded me why I loved this mission set in the first place. The cold was miserable—but the training was absolutely worth it.

That experience also reinforced something I believe deeply about I68.

I68 isn’t just a defensive shooting company.

Our instructors bring decades of real-world experience and diverse skill sets from across our careers. Shooting is one lane—but so is leadership, situational awareness, problem-solving under stress, and yes, Close Air Support training when the mission calls for it.

Different environments. Different audiences. Same mindset.

We exist to make an impact—wherever that impact is needed.

Still learning. Still teaching. Still serving.
