This weekend I was honored to receive the Brian Crain Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award from the Thin Blue Brotherhood Foundation.
As I look back on more than three decades in law enforcement, training, leadership, and service, I am reminded that no career is built alone. This recognition belongs just as much to the mentors who guided me, the officers who served beside me, the leaders who trusted me, and the family who supported me through long hours, missed holidays, and countless challenges.
Law enforcement has never been just a profession to me—it has been a calling. It has given me the opportunity to serve my community, help develop future leaders, and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
I am truly humbled to have my name associated with an award that honors the legacy of Brian Crain and the values of dedication, integrity, courage, and service.
Thank you to the Thin Blue Brotherhood Foundation for this incredible honor, and thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey.
I remain committed to serving, teaching, mentoring, and giving back to the profession that has given so much to me.
