Milo the Moss is Joining a Mighty Big Cause 🌿💚
It is hard to imagine how daunting it can be for a child to spend days, weeks, or even months in a hospital room. When the world feels overwhelmingly large and scary, sometimes the best remedy is a safe, quiet place to escape into a good story.
I am incredibly honoured to collaborate with fellow children's author Brandi Filer and a wonderful community of independent authors for the Books for Brave Kids book drive. Together, we are working to send books directly to the young patients and families receiving care at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Milo might just be a small patch of moss, but if there is one thing he knows, it is the power of offering a soft, cozy spot to rest during a difficult journey.
