How long do I want to keep doing this? How much can I continue to carry? And perhaps most importantly… who has my back?

For founders, leaders, executive directors, and solopreneurs, work that began with excitement and passion can slowly start to feel different. That doesn't mean the work no longer matters. It may simply be time to listen to what is changing.

In Episode 1 of *Listening for What Wants to Emerge*, we explore that moment when the familiar begins to shift and we find ourselves standing at the threshold of what comes next.

What are you ready to leave behind, and what do you want to carry forward?

What happens when the passion that once felt so clear begins to change?

You may notice emotional fatigue, uncertainty about where you're headed, or questions about whether you can continue doing things the way you always have. For those working alongside horses, change can also come as trusted members of the herd age or pass on, leaving an even deeper question: *What happens to me when this part of my life changes?*

In Episode 1 of *Listening for What Wants to Emerge*, I invite us to notice these questions rather than rush past them.

Sometimes the threshold is exactly where something new begins.

NEW SERIES! Episode 1 is out now!

What happens when the work you care deeply about also asks more and more of you?

After nearly 20 years in Equine Assisted Services, I know how much energy goes into creating meaningful experiences for others. From caring for the horses and facilities to supporting participants and coordinating a team, there is often much more being carried behind the scenes than people realize.

In Episode 1 of *Listening for What Wants to Emerge*, let's explore what it means to stand at a threshold and begin noticing what may be asking to change.

What feels worth carrying forward? And what might you be ready to do differently?

Introducing Dr. Terry Chase’s newest series, Listening for What Wants to Emerge: Four WholeHearted Conversations for What’s Next.

There comes a point when the question shifts from, “How can I keep doing this better?” to something deeper:
“What is asking to change?”

One of the greatest lessons I've learned is that when we stop listening to ourselves, we slowly begin to lose connection with who we really are.

Our true self is always speaking to us, but it's easy to drown out that voice with responsibilities, expectations, and constant busyness.

When our hub isn't receiving the attention it needs, our spokes begin to weaken, and we can find ourselves feeling disconnected—not only from others, but from ourselves.

I believe that separation from ourselves is one of the greatest challenges of our time.

In this concluding episode of the Wheel Theory of Well-Being, I invite you to reconnect with your center and remember that a wholehearted life isn't built through perfection—it's built through paying attention, one spoke at a time.

💭 Reflection: If you were to tend just one part of your wheel this week, which one would it be?

Before you rush into your next task today, I'd like to invite you to do something simple.

Pause.

Take a quiet moment to check in with yourself.

How is your hub? Are you listening deeply to what's asking for your attention?

How are your spokes? Are you staying connected to yourself, or have you become disconnected in the busyness of life?

Sometimes we don't need dramatic change. We simply need the space to notice what our lives have been trying to tell us all along.

In this final episode of the Wheel Theory of Well-Being, I walk through each part of the wheel and invite you to reflect on where your attention is needed most.
