To all flare service companies in the industry, and operators. It's crucial for managers, HSE representatives, and supervisors to remember the importance of ensuring that there is NO flame present on both the main waste gas burner and the pilot before sending a technician or operator to work under a flare. Alternatively, if possible, completely isolate the flare.

Facility upsets can occur unexpectedly and rapidly, leaving little time for a response. As shown in the video!

Working near an active flame places our personnel at significant risk. As an industry, our top priority must be to get our people home safely every single day!
