Marcus Kinrade, a Wake County Tax Administration representative spoke in our office this week. He mainly spoke to their process regarding the recent reevaluations of property value.

Heres a few things that struck me:
- Wake county has more parcels (over 427k) than any other county in the state, and with 88k acres of farming this number with continue to grow
- overall property value increased over 95 billion
- The number(%) of appeals this year is DOWN!
- There is still time to make a formal appeal (until May 15)

- atleast, homeowners should check for errors in the county's assesment (square footage, # bedrooms,acreage,etc.)

Another AI home evaluation tool. It's a nice user interface, and numbers are similar to Zillow. It's a bit more detailed and gives you a rough idea of value when considering resell, investment, borrowing, etc.
