Micah L. English is a faith leader, author, speaker, entrepreneur, and Associate Broker whose life is dedicated to helping others grow spiritually, personally, and professionally. As the owner of KME Real Estate Management and the visionary behind the Becoming Movement, Micah has committed herself to empowering women to heal, grow, and walk confidently in their God-given purpose.

An ordained minister serving alongside her husband, Dr. Kevin D. English Sr., at Open Bible Church, Micah carries a unique ability to blend biblical truth with practical wisdom. Whether she is leading in ministry, coaching others, speaking from a platform, or helping families navigate homeownership, her message remains the same: become everything God has called you to be.

She is the author of Becoming: The Homebuyer’s Edition, Becoming: The Self-Paced Workbook & Journal, and a contributing author in Radiant Resilience. Through every endeavor, Micah continues to challenge women to embrace growth, pursue healing, and live with intentionality.

Wise Woman Wednesday

A wise woman understands that reciprocity is not begging someone to give what you have already been freely pouring out.

It is not keeping score.
It is not being needy.
It is not asking for too much.

Reciprocity is evidence of honor.

When a relationship consistently requires you to initiate, encourage, check in, understand, adjust, forgive, and make excuses, wisdom says pause.

Because anything that only survives off your effort is not mutual.

A wise woman knows the difference between being patient with someone and abandoning herself to keep access to them.

Love should not leave you feeling invisible.
Connection should not make you feel foolish.
And respect should not have to be negotiated.

If the relationship lacks reciprocity, eventually it will reveal what else is missing.

Respect.

The Christian Business Women’s Brunch is back for a Special Baltimore Edition:

NO MORE MEAN GIRLS

This one is for the women who are tired of competition, comparison, silent jealousy, church hurt, business sabotage, and rooms where “sisterhood” is preached but not practiced.

We are coming for healing.
We are coming for accountability.
We are coming for Kingdom alignment.

And yes… we are coming locked and loaded.

The lineup is finalized, and let me just say this: we have some anointed women coming who are truly Holy Ghost-filled Girl’s Girls. Women who know how to celebrate other women, cover instead of compete, correct with love, and make room at the table without fear that someone else will take their seat. They carry wisdom, authenticity, discernment, and the heart of God for His daughters.

From the desk of our Founder

Charlotte… The Queen City held Queen’s Court, and this brunch was simply amazing.

The room was full of wisdom, grace, power, and the presence of God. Our panel was moderated by my sis, the dynamic Ebony Vaughan, who guided the conversation with such beauty and depth as we discussed what it means to stand, show up, and lead as true Kingdom queens.

My longtime friend and sister, Michelle Thornhill, spoke with wisdom, intention, and excellence. Her words challenged us all to look inward and rise higher. It was such a blessing to see her, along with her sister circle, who came to support her and bless the room.

Jackie Freeman came through with power and authority. The way she moved the room while sharing how she leads was absolutely powerful.

Missy Mitchell poured from a beautiful place of authenticity and compassion as she shared her “why” and the heart behind her mission in the community.

We also continue our promise to support and partner with Black female-owned venues and catering companies. Thank you to Marstroe and Karen of Events9506 for hosting us with such care. To Bertrinia King Crawford, our beautiful caterer, thank you..You and your team for served with so much grace and love.

To my family who served Pastor Malissia Dunston, Elle Michelle and Nicole Sutton Arrington thank you!

What many people do not know is that my cousins Malissa and Michelle have supported the brunch since day one. Neither of them ever leaves the venue until I am in the car and pulling off. That may seem small to some, but those of us in ministry know the weight and love that kind of covering carries.

Per usual, Francine Forest was in place serving with excellence and humility. You will not see many pictures of Fran because she moves so silently and humbly, you almost never know where she is in the room. But trust me, she is there, making sure things are covered. She is truly the backbone of this brunch. She probably will not even see this post because she is rarely on social media, but I honor her publicly because she serves so faithfully privately.

To the CBWB intercessors, thank you for covering me, the women, the room, and the assignment.

This brunch has been prayed over, covered, and built with integrity. We will not allow anyone to manipulate women, steal from women, or use this sacred space as a setup for dishonesty.

If someone is in the comments claiming they have tickets to sell, transfer, or “can’t attend anymore,” do not send them money.

All tickets must come through the official registration process or directly through our team. Every ticket will be verified at the door. Fake, duplicated, unauthorized, or resold tickets will not be honored.
