Life update: Hi friends! I’ve been hesitant to share details about our summer because I’ve been battling some fear and anxiety that it’s too good to be true and will somehow fall apart, but today I feel called to step out in faith and praise God for all He is doing in spite of my fear. After years of praying and searching, He has thrown doors wide open for us to move to a beautiful acreage with a charming old farmhouse just down the gravel road from my husband’s parents. We were able to go ahead and move over now so we can get settled before the school year starts when I am returning to a part time teaching job at our girls’ school. We have a wonderful local family who will be purchasing our home in town, and we are hoping to close on both properties before the end of the summer. Like I said, all of the logistics for the closings make me nervous, but then I look around at this property, and I see the detailed goodness of a generous Heavenly Father. We are planning some big projects for the house over the next few years, but the wrap around porch and original woodwork already make it so much of a dream come true for me. If you see this, please say a quick prayer against my fear and worry for all the details to continue to fall into place on schedule over the next month or so. The Lord is so kind, and I just want to use this as another opportunity to proclaim His goodness and faithfulness. ❤️
