On today's episode of, "My Job is Awesome!!"
BigIron contributed to feeding the frontlines in Kerrville Flood Relief efforts & I got to volunteer by serving food to the first responders.
David Fohn, the owner of Primo Processing has been feeding the first responders FOR FREE every day for THREE WEEKS STRAIGHT!
He said he woke up the day after the floods & God called him to go & serve.
Just the day I was there they made 500lbs of steaks!! I volunteered alongside people who had lost multiple friends in the floods. I got to talk to first responders about their experience & even cuddled a baby kangaroo that was dubbed "the emotional support animal" for anyone who needed a pick me up.

I saw a tremendous amount of devastation, but I saw even more love & hope.
If you've felt called to do something but didn't know what/how to help, I'd encourage you to donate to Primo Processing (see last photo in collage). They provided over 16,000 meals over the past 21 days to first responders. FOR FREE!
They're trying to raise money to offset the cost of the amount of food & supplies they donated & the cost of continuing to run their business while they were away.
There's no amount of money too small.
Thank you David & Primo Processing. You make me proud to be a Texan ❤️
