During team reviews, we realized many of our staff wanted to grow in their communication. We invited Janelle to lead a communication huddle with our team, and it made a meaningful difference.

Our team walked away with practical tools and shared several key takeaways. We quickly saw the impact in our bar flow and in how team members communicate during shifts. People felt more confident speaking up, sharing what they need, and helping ensure the shift runs smoothly and everyone is set up for success.

The huddle also gave our leadership team helpful insight into how each individual on our team communicates best. We’re very grateful for Janelle’s insight and would absolutely work with her again in the future.

Where My Leadership Story Started

Early in my career, I was encouraged to do more than teach—I was encouraged to lead.
In my first teaching role, I had a strong role model who believed in me, made himself available, shared what he had learned over the years, and—most importantly—let me fail and learn from it. That experience shaped how I view leadership to this day.

Leadership, at its best, is not about having all the answers. It’s about creating space for growth, building trust, and helping people learn who they are and how they contribute.

Those early years taught me that when people feel supported and trusted, they take ownership. And when ownership and direction are clear, meaningful progress follows.

That foundation is still with me—and it’s why I care so deeply about how leaders develop others, not just results.

God wired us for community, and I’ve seen how powerful it is to be in a room with peers who truly understand both the opportunities and the challenges we carry. It sharpens my thinking, strengthens my leadership, and moves my business forward. All of it aiming toward the primary goals of profitable growth and kingdom-impact.
