The first step in Personal or Professional Development is to take 100% responsibility for everything in your life.
The point of this concept is that if you aren't willing to take 100% responsibility, you will not be able to correct or change it because you'll be able to blame someone else.
When you take 100% responsibility, you relinquish the ability to blame someone else and must own the blame to the degree that you control the outcome, meaning how you respond.
Thus, you can now change because you have taken back control.
As this relates to business, did you have a slow day yesterday, or did you allow it to be slow by not taking more or better action to improve the results?
Is your lead flow down, or have you not been taking enough consistent action to generate new leads?
You determine your level of Success.
Yes, there are legitimate factors that will increase or decrease your rate of success, but in the end, did you influence everything that you had control over?
If not, then own it don't make excuses or explanations, and leave no regrets!
