Work. Family. Purpose. And a little NYC in between. šŸ—½ā¤ļø

One day in New York City to follow up with a client.
The rest of the week? Legoland with the family. šŸŽ¢

And somewhere in between all of it… I worked. Every day. Because apparently my laptop and I are a package deal. šŸ˜‚šŸ’»

Some people completely disconnect on vacation. I’ve realized that’s just not me-and I’m perfectly okay with that.

I genuinely love what I do. I love being present with my family, making memories, traveling, exploring new places… and still finding a corner somewhere to open my laptop, answer what needs answering, and keep things moving.

For me, balance doesn’t always mean separating work and life.

Sometimes it means building a life where both can exist together.

And seeing ā€œBuilding high tech for their higher purposeā€ behind me in this picture felt like a pretty good reminder:

Keep building. Keep living. And never forget the higher purpose behind it all. ✨

For some people, currency is dollars, pesos, yen, rupees, gold, or silver.

But what happens when that currency isn’t motivation anymore?

What happens when more money doesn’t make someone want to stay, care more, or say yes?

That’s when you have to learn their currency.

Maybe their currency is Trust. Flexibility. Purpose.Loyalty. Respect. Or simply… feeling valued.

We’re so used to measuring someone’s value with a number. But when money is no longer the motivator, the conversation has to change.

Instead of asking: ā€œWhat is this person worth?ā€

Maybe we should be asking: ā€œWhat does this person value?ā€

Because you can keep offering more of your currency without realizing it has no value to them.

Not everyone wants more. Some people want different.

They want to be trusted.
They want loyalty returned.
They want to know that their presence matters-not just their performance.

Because sometimes, the most valuable thing you can give someone has no dollar sign attached to it.

If you truly value someone, learn their currency.

Feeling incredibly grateful to Bold Journey for the opportunity to share a little more of my story. šŸ¤

Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s next that we don’t stop to reflect on the experiences, people, challenges, and opportunities that helped shape us along the way. Being invited to do that through this feature was truly special.

Thank you to the Bold Journey team for creating a space where people can share the stories behind the work—not just the accomplishments, but the journey that leads to them.

And to everyone who has been part of mine in one way or another: thank you. There’s still so much ahead, and I’m grateful for every chapter.

Thank you, Governor Josh Stein, for the opportunity to meet and talk in such an intimate setting. Conversations like these remind me that leadership is built through listening, collaboration, and the willingness to engage with people from different backgrounds and industries.

One of the greatest advantages of my career is the opportunity to sit at tables where ideas are exchanged before they become headlines.

People assume the strongest networks belong to the people at every event.

Not always.
I rarely go anywhere.

Yet my calendar is full of conversations with CEOs, founders, investors, attorneys, and executives.

The strongest network isn’t built by going to every event.
It’s built by becoming someone worth calling.

Expertise open doors that networking alone never will because your reputation is what introduce you to rooms you’ve never walked into.

One conversation can tell you everything you need to know about a business relationship.

Character shows up under pressure.
Respect shows up in disagreement.
Leadership shows up in how people treat others when they don’t have to.

I choose my clients as carefully as they choose me.

There is a difference between hiring an expert and believing you own one.

One earns results.
The other loses access.

Professionalism isn’t optional. It’s the minimum standard.

Not every opportunity deserves a seat at my table.

Thank you, Governor Roy Cooper, for your time and kindness. It was a pleasure meeting you in person.
In a world full of emails and virtual meetings, nothing replaces the value of meeting people face to face. The best opportunities often begin with a simple handshake. Whenever possible, make face-to-face connections a priority-they build trust, strengthen relationships, and open doors that technology alone never can.

The best investment I’ve ever made wasn’t in a business-it was in becoming someone capable of building one.

Every certification represents hours of study, discipline, and a commitment to staying ahead in a world that never stops evolving.

Today, I have the privilege of applying that knowledge to help businesses strengthen their operations, make better financial decisions, embrace AI, and scale with confidence.

Continuous learning isn’t about collecting credentials. It’s about creating better outcomes for the people who trust you with their business.

Growth is a responsibility. Excellence is a choice.
Not to impress, but To be prepared.
