Your company is probably already using AI.
The bigger question is: Do you know how?
What information are employees putting into AI tools?
What decisions are they using AI to help make?
Are the results being verified?
What happens when it’s wrong?
Who’s responsible?
AI governance can sound like something only huge corporations need to worry about. It’s not. You don’t necessarily need a 200-page AI policy. But you do need enough structure to understand how AI is being used in your business and where the risks are.
That’s really what governance is about. Not creating more rules for the sake of rules. Creating enough clarity that you can use the technology with confidence.
So, does your organization know how it’s using AI?
It’s a question worth asking before adding another AI tool to the stack.
