The kitchen is usually my favorite room in any home. It’s where life actually happens.
It’s where dance parties start, kids sit and tell you about their day, girlfriends gather over wine, memories spill into stories with family, and even hard conversations somehow soften. The kitchen is energy. It’s rhythm. It’s connection.
More clients have started asking for meal prep support this season and guess what? I’m leaning in. I’m always investing in learning, not just in business strategy, but in real life skills.
Today that meant taking a biscuit-making class at here in Charleston (yes, the one that ships nationwide). If I’m going to live in South Carolina, I need to know how to make a proper biscuit.
Over the years, I’ve taken cooking classes in several countries across the globe. Mediterranean cooking will always have my heart (Italy and Greece forever).
I genuinely love food. Real food. I buy organic when I can. I read labels. I care about nutrients. But I’m real. I love a cookie, and I’ve grabbed after a long, chaotic day too. Because homes and lives aren’t about perfection. They’re about presence.
After class, I did something unexpected. I dropped off half a dozen of my fresh biscuits to a friend after I saw her sweet pup in the yard. It was spontaneous, simple, and it absolutely made my day.
That’s who I am.
I reset kitchens. I create flow. I support the rhythm of the home. Sometimes that’s organizing. Sometimes that’s meal prep. Sometimes that’s butter-filled biscuits delivered with heart.
