X Cracks Down on Content Theft!

Have you ever seen a great video online, only to find out the person who posted it didn't make it?

The article below discusses how X is working to change that.

X is using Grok AI to find videos that have been copied and reposted. Even adding a watermark, intro, or small edits may not hide the original video.

The goal is simple: the person who created the content should get the credit and the money.

Don't copy someone else's content and make a few small changes. Instead:

Create your own content.
Repurpose your own videos and webinars.
If you use someone else's content, give credit.
Add your own ideas, information, or opinions.

You can still talk about someone else's video without stealing it. Give credit and add something useful of your own.

You don't need to steal content to keep your social media active.

Create your own content, add value, and give credit when you use someone else's work.

Have you ever had someone repost your content without giving you credit? Share your experience in the comments. ⬇

Instagram Now Lets You Change the Music in Your Old Posts!

The article below discusses how Instagram has added a feature that is beneficial to creators. You can now change the music on your published feed posts and carousels without deleting them.

Before this update, if a song was muted or you wanted different music, you had to delete the post and upload it again. That meant losing your likes, comments, views, and other engagement.

Now you can swap the music and keep your post and its engagement. This saves time and keeps your hard work from going to waste.

This update only works for posts and carousels. It does not work for Reels yet.

Here's hoping Instagram brings this feature to Reels next.

Are you willing to try this feature? If you have tried it, let us know how it's going for you in the comments ⬇

YouTube Shorts Just Got Faster with 2× Playback!

Summary:

- If someone is talking slowly, you can increase the speed
- Make your message clear
- Thumbs up is being replaced with heart
- You can watch shorts without all the icons and buttons
- Repurpose your videos into shorts
- Clip the best 15-60 seconds moments into shorts to spark curiosity and encourage people to watch full videos and webinars

YouTube Shorts continues to grow. Repurpose your best Reels, webinars, podcasts, and videos into short, engaging clips that grab attention and lead viewers to your full content.

Did you know: 2 billion hours of Shorts on TVs are watched each month.

How do you plan on incorporating Shorts as part of your marketing strategy? ⬇

YouTube Shorts Just Got Faster with a New 2x Speed Option!

In this episode of the Virtual Hire Hand Live Blog, Tiffany Parson and Ashioma Isu break down YouTube's latest Shorts features in simple terms.

You can now:
- Watch Shorts at 2x speed
- Tap a heart instead of a thumbs up
- Hide Shorts you don't want with "Not Interested" or "Don't Recommend This Channel"
- Watch Shorts with fewer buttons on the screen

Here's the big news: People watch over 2 billion hours of YouTube Shorts on TVs every month. That's a huge chance to reach new viewers.

If you already make Instagram Reels, don't stop there. Post the same clips as YouTube Shorts too. You don't need to make new content , repurpose what you already have.

Keep your Shorts short, clear, and interesting. Even if people watch at 2x speed, your view still counts when they open your Short.

LinkedIn's New Brand Rules Make Posting Easier!

The article below discusses how LinkedIn now keeps your brand consistent.
LinkedIn has a new feature that helps you keep your content looking and sounding like you.
You can now set your:
- Brand colors
- Brand fonts
- Brand voice (how you want your writing to sound)
This helps LinkedIn's AI create content that matches your style instead of starting from scratch.

Helpful tips:
- LinkedIn can analyze your past posts to suggest your colours, fonts, and writing style.

- This is a great way to check whether your content aligns with your brand.

- It's gonna pull in from what you've already been posting.

- It's always a good way to do a little self-check to see, have I been on brand?
this makes content easier to reuse.

- You can turn one piece of content into many posts while keeping the same style and tone.

- Webinar clips, quotes, and highlights can all keep the same look, making your brand easier to recognize.

When creating content, this saves time. Instead of fixing every AI-generated post, LinkedIn already knows your preferred style.

It's also great for:
- Repurposing blog posts, videos, and webinars
- Keeping your posts consistent across platforms
- Building a brand people recognize

Don't worry if your brand changes, brands grow over time.
Even famous companies have changed their names, logos, and branding.
Your colors, fonts, and voice can change too. Start with what you have today and improve as you grow.

Try it today
Open LinkedIn and update your:
- Brand colors
- Fonts
- Brand voice

A few minutes now can help every future AI-generated post sound more like you.
How would you use LinkedIn's new Brand Rules? Let us know in the comments!⬇

TikTok Growth Max Makes Mini Drama Series Easy!

In this video, Tiffany Parson and Ashioma Isu from Virtual Hired Hand Team explain TikTok's new episodic content feature in simple terms. Instead of posting one video and hoping it goes viral, TikTok now lets you tell your story in episodes.

Helpful Tips:

- Post a short episode that leaves people wanting more.
- Viewers can unlock the next episode by watching an ad or paying.
- Keep people coming back for the next part.

You don't need to be loud or funny to keep people watching. If your content is helpful and valuable, your audience will stay for the next episode.

The goal isn't one viral video. It's giving people a reason to come back.

Would you create your content as a series? Tell us in the comments⬇
