Most people don't realize that the streaming device they are using, be it a Roku, Apple TV 4K, NVidia Shield, ONN, Fire TV, etc, is not setup optimally for the content or TV they are watching. Did you know that the contrast and black levels on your TV are two of the most important settings to get right? These two settings should be adjusted based on the lighting environment your TV is viewed in. Getting these right will add both depth and clarity to your content.
Everyone should also check to see if their TV is over scanning the image. Many TV do over scan "out of the box". What this means is that you are getting less than the 4K you paid for.

For most of today's TVs, AVRs, and streaming devices, you need high speed HDMI cables that are rated for at least 18GBs. I always recommend certified HDMI cables to my customers for trouble free connectivity between devices. I personally buy the newer certified 48GBs cables to ensure compatibility between devices.
