The Cleveland County Business Development Center (CCBDC) is pleased to announce the 26th
Annual MED Week Celebration, taking place October 18–24, 2026 at the Legrand’s Center.
Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) celebrates the achievements and impact
of minority (local) entrepreneurs throughout North Carolina and Cleveland County while
recognizing individuals and organizations that strengthen our community

This year’s theme, “Unsung to Unstoppable: Celebrating the Impact of Business &
Community,” recognizes those whose leadership, dedication, and contributions help create
opportunities, strengthen businesses, and make a lasting impact in our community.
Throughout the week, MED Week will bring together entrepreneurs, small business owners,
community leaders, and public officials for opportunities to connect, celebrate, and recognize
excellence. Featured activities will culminate with the 26th Annual Awards Gala.
CCBDC, a nonprofit organization founded in 1992, remains committed to supporting economic
development, educational outreach, civic participation, and small business growth throughout
our region.
