Nonprofit Leadership, Board Training & Grant Writing

Our CELA class took a deeper look at what it takes to build and sustain a strong nonprofit organization.

The session covered board responsibilities, bylaws, financial oversight, fundraising, grant writing, legal and ethical accountability, officer roles, and the importance of understanding and protecting the organization’s mission.

Participants were reminded that serving on a nonprofit board is more than holding a title—it requires commitment, accountability, preparation, and a willingness to ask the right questions.

MEN’S EMPOWERMENT: BUILDING STRONGER MEN & STRONGER COMMUNITIES

CORE Community Coalition, Inc. hosted its Men’s Empowerment event on August 15, bringing men together for a morning focused on learning, growth, connection, and empowerment.

Through classes, workshops, and meaningful experiences, participants were encouraged to gain knowledge, build valuable skills, and leave inspired to make a positive impact in their families and throughout the community.
