"How do you run multiple business and still have time for your family?"
Jen Schneider, the Savvy Sales Strategist, here to chat about a topic close to my heart: the remarkable parallels between running a business and raising babies. 🌟
As a mom of four—including 3 grandbabies—I've navigated the wild and wonderful journey of both motherhood and entrepreneurship. And let me tell you, the similarities are truly awe-inspiring. 💼🍼
1️⃣ Endless Patience: Just like in business, raising babies requires heaps of patience. From those sleepless nights to navigating toddler tantrums, patience is key. And guess what? The same holds true in entrepreneurship. Building a successful business takes time, persistence, and a whole lot of patience as you navigate challenges and setbacks.
2️⃣ Adaptability: Babies have a knack for throwing curveballs, don't they? One moment they're peacefully napping, and the next, they're on a mission to redecorate the walls with self-tanner (ask me about that story!) Similarly, entrepreneurship is all about adapting to unexpected twists and turns in the journey. Flexibility and adaptability are your best friends as you pivot, iterate, and evolve your business strategy.
3️⃣ Unconditional Love: Ah, the boundless love of a parent for their child. It's a force to be reckoned with, isn't it? Well, guess what? Entrepreneurs often have that same fierce love for their businesses. It's a labor of love, fueled by passion and unwavering dedication, even when the going gets tough.
4️⃣ Milestones & Celebrations: In both motherhood and entrepreneurship, it's essential to celebrate the wins—big and small. Whether it's your baby's first steps or landing a major client, taking the time to acknowledge and celebrate milestones fuels your motivation and keeps you moving forward.
5️⃣ Community Support: Raising babies and building a business are not solo endeavors. Surrounding yourself with a supportive community—whether it's fellow moms or fellow entrepreneurs—is crucial. We're all in this together, lifting each other up, sharing insights, and cheering each other on.
So, to all out there juggling business and babies, I see you. I admire you... keep going!
