How many times have you thought about this classic and comedic exchange between the psychologist (Debbie Allen) and Whitley (Jasmine Guy) and laughed out loud?

Though quite comical, this scene includes nuggets for life:

#1: We all need people around us who will not let us stay in denial. And, likewise we should be that person for someone,

#2: Our impatience with people is often not because of care/concern. It more often because we feel inconvenienced by their 'delayed progress' in some way. (Catch what the Dr, says when Whitley denies having a problem)

#3: A key to relating well with others and releasing what has the 'expired things' in our lives begins with our willingness to get out of our emotions (relax) so we can see and hear clearly.

In what areas of your life could you stand to relax, relate and release?

Listen in as I share about an experience I had at a Veterans Administration campus that reminded me about the importance of frist valuing humanity before seeking to launch into the vast matters of Diversity & Inclusion.

FREE-FOR-ALL FRIDAY: What's your 'why' and how does it guide how you live?

One could say that wellness begins with a sense of purpose-your 'why'. Your 'why' serves as filter for your 'how'; and 'whatt'. Unfortunately, many do not take time to consider their why-wandering around without the inflluence of purpose, they drift in and out of whatever life throws their way,

As you listen in take some time to intentionally focus on your 'why'; share it in comment to this post, Once you've done that, find :Simon Sinek's Discovering Your Why" TED talk for indepth detail. Why? Because "Your 'Why' Matters".
