Today, we recognize Presidents’ Day, a time to reflect on the leadership and service of those who have guided our nation.
While the holiday began as a celebration of President George Washington and now honors all U.S. presidents, it also reminds us that leadership is rooted in service. Many of our presidents served in the military before leading our country. They were citizen soldiers who stepped away from civilian life to answer the call of duty.
Fun fact: 26 of our 44 presidents served in the U.S. military.
On this day, we honor not only our nation’s Veterans, but also the countless men and women in uniform and out who serve their communities every day. From municipal workers and public servants to business leaders, first responders, educators, and volunteers, service takes many forms. It is the foundation of strong communities and a strong country.
At Otto, we are proud to partner with those who dedicate themselves to serving others.
Today, and every day, we thank you.
