Metersys is on-site with G2 Utilities Inc. conducting a field survey for the City of Randleman’s new Radio Read Meter Project. 🏙️

This survey is essential to the success of City of Randleman's metering infrastructure improvements. During the survey, crews will gather key information like meter types, lid and box types, and other crucial data points associated with meter upgrades for the City. 🛠️

We are excited to be apart of the big step forward in the City of Randleman!

Over the next few months, surveying will take place for the City's Radio Read Meter project. Please be aware of crews with safety vests and trucks driving slowly with flashing lights. More details about the survey are provided below.

Metersys was on-site this week with USG Water Solutions conducting site walks of the locations planned for network infrastructure in Gastonia. Surveying sites for network installation is a crucial step in setting the stage for a smooth and efficient AMI rollout.🚰

While out in the field, our skilled team identified potential issues such as: Underground utilities & obstructions, environmental factors, accessibility & right-of-way constraints, and stakeholder feedback. 💡

With this critical information, we can optimize infrastructure design & placement while ensuring a safer environment for workers & the public. 🦺

Metersys was on-sight last Thursday with the Temescal Valley Water District, Core & Main and Kamstrup teams to kickoff the District’s AMI implementation project. 🏙️

The utility is a California Water District formed in 1965 to provide water and wastewater services to the residents of the Temescal Valley between the cities of Lake Elsinore and Corona. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and will include a customer portal using software provided through H20 Analytics.🚰

Following the kickoff, the team conducted a site walk of the locations planned for network infrastructure. The District has established an incredible water storage and distribution system allowing for great options in the planning and construction of gateways to cover 100% of the District’s service area. 📈

Our team is on-site this week with the City of Corona, California Electric Department reviewing results of the roadmap planning for the City’s approach to Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). 🏙️

We also connected with the AMI network installation team conducting Phase 2 installations for the Water AMI project already underway. This work is being conducted by JM Electrical Services and Ferguson Waterworks.🚰

The Town of Aberdeen, North Carolina is working with MeterSYS to move its smart metering infrastructure. We have set-up their field data collection tool and they are actively working through asset inventory ahead of AMI deployment. Staff is excited to be moving their system forward.
