South Carolina Division of APSAF A Unit of the Society of American Foresters and known as the South Carolina Division of the APSAF.

This organization is a unit of the Society of American Foresters and known as the South Carolina Division of the Appalachian Society of American Foresters (referred to as the Division) as provided in Article X of the Bylaws of the Appalachian Society. It's objectives are:

- To advance the science, technology, education and practice of professional forestry in
South Carolina and to use the knowl

edge and skills of the profession to benefit society.

- To provide an opportunity for better communication among the individual members,
chapters, and state representatives and throughout the Society.

- Tto actively support all of the activities of the Appalachian Society and the Society of
American Foresters

On Sunday, June 7th, the Society of American Foresters hosted a free, family-friendly educational event from 1pm - 4pm at the SC State Museum. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about both beneficial and harmful insects that inhabited and affected our forests. It was a fantastic event, and we were so excited to see you there!
