I’m creating the Project Guidance Specification framework because AI is becoming part of real project delivery, but the guidance we give those systems is still too often scattered across prompts, conversations, documentation, and tool-specific instruction files. PGS is intended to provide a more durable, structured, and model-agnostic way to define how AI should work within a project, while still respecting existing conventions instead of replacing them unnecessarily. The goal is better consistency across tools and agents, less repeated explanation, less drift, and better results from both large models and smaller local models.

In Part 2 of the series, I define what a Project Guidance Specification actually is and where it fits in the growing AI development ecosystem.

Most small businesses do not need “more AI tools.”
They need help finding where AI can safely reduce repetitive work, improve decisions, clean up daily workflows, and support the people already doing the work.
That is the gap Peak Agile Solutions is focused on helping organizations close: practical AI adoption, workflow modernization, and stronger software delivery when technology teams are part of the equation.

The real opportunity is not chasing hype.
It is helping businesses find their first useful AI wins, protect their data, and build better systems around the work they already do.
