Another solid driveway prep and rock spread in the books. Started with clearing out the base, brought in the stone, and worked with the homeowner to get every square foot graded and raked out clean with the Dingo. Special guest commentary on the mic courtesy of my kids!

When you pray for business growth, the blessings don’t show up as easy money—they show up as work. Monday morning standing in front of 6 upcoming townhome pre-wires. Now comes the ex*****on: lining up the manpower, planning the schedule, and getting it done right. Grateful for the pipeline and ready to put the hammer down.

Getting the camper loaded down and headed out to Hatteras. If you own a camper, you already know no trip ever starts with everything at 100%. The battery light decided to pop on in the truck right before leaving, so we packed the extra tool bag and hit the road anyway.

Had a guy walk up to me on the job site a few weeks back shaking his head: "Man, why are you out here killing yourself in this heat on a Saturday?"
Fair question when it feels like an oven outside. But my mindset is simple: when God blesses you with the work, you don't take it for granted. You show up, execute, and provide.
Microphone gave out in the heat, so I laid down a voiceover instead. No excuses, no complaining—just getting the job done. 🔨🔥

Most people only see the machine moving dirt on site—they don’t see the 2 hours of logistics it takes just to get it there.
Starting this Monday morning with gratitude. God blessed us with another job on the books, but before turning the key on site, the real work is already done:
Staging tools and spare parts in case something breaks mid-job
Loading and hauling off-road diesel
Picking up the rental trailer
Chaining and strapping the equipment down safely
A lot of guys rush to finance an expensive equipment trailer right away. For us, renting as needed keeps overhead rock-bottom, eliminates trailer maintenance and tire blowouts, and keeps every spare dollar focused on cash flow and paying off debt. Work with the assets you have, keep overhead low, and scale smart.

Well, the boat decided today was the day to call it quits on the water. Thankfully we were close enough to float right up to the dock without a tow.
Now I’m hauling it over to the mechanic. To be completely honest, handing the keys over to a shop feels like quitting—my natural instinct is to tear into it and diagnose it myself. But looking at the schedule and everything going on this week, I don't have the bandwidth.
Sometimes you have to swallow the DIY pride and realize your time and sanity are worth more than proving you can turn a wrench on your own gear.
Boats are a complete black hole for cash, but you can’t get mad at it. It’s just par for the course of being on the water. 🚤🛠️

Rule #1 of Boat Ownership: Don't confuse regular money with boat money 🚤💸

Sitting in line at the 64th Street ramp on a Saturday morning will test your patience, but getting out on the water with the family makes every second worth it.
​Best advice for a family? Buy the boat. Just make sure you keep your regular money and your boat money in two totally separate categories! 😂🚤

Riding shotgun with the real boss today.
Talks on the drive consisted entirely of boats and horsepower. Then we hit ADI to pick up networking gear, ran the aisles, and cleaned out their free snack stash.
Running a business is tough, but building it around family is the whole point. Life is built on these little moments God provides. 🛠️ True blessings.
