AND another one 💙 I dropped off a special delivery today at Gates Elementary School for Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎❤️ A huge shoutout to Painted Hive Co. for this stunning hand-painted clipboard. (Almost didn’t want to give it away 😍🤣) It was the perfect way to present gift cards & give a gift at the same time. The hugs from the staff and sweet words about my nephew that’s in kindergarten being so smart and sweet made my entire day! So grateful for the amazing teachers in our community. 📝✨

Cookies are delivered! As a former Salem Star, it meant so much to give back to the teachers and staff at Salem Church Elementary School during Teacher Appreciation Week 🧡🍪

I loved being able to partner with one of my favorite local spots, Honey Bee Bakery, to help make this happen. Supporting our educators and supporting local businesses at the same time is always a win in my book. 📚

We’re keeping Teacher Appreciation Week going 💙 Earlier this week we shared what we’re doing for Salem, AND NOW it’s Gates Elementary School’s (Chesterfield County Public Schools) turn!

For Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8), I put together something special together to give back to the teachers at Gates with Painted Hive Co.

There will be TWO winners, selected by Gates Elementary:

I wanted to include something unique and locally made, and Brycen’s work was the perfect fit for this because everything is hand-painted! Supporting other local small businesses while giving back to our community just makes it even better.

So, about a month ago, I donated a branding package to the KCES PTA auction for Kersey Creek Elementary School, and the winning bid came from a mom who chose to gift it to her son, a high school senior starting his own landscaping business based in Ashland, VA. He’s excited to step away from the “high schooler who cuts grass” and step into launching his new company to his existing & new clients.

We took that opportunity and built out a full brand for Richmond Native Landscaping Solutions, LLC:

• Logo & variations
• Mini brand guide
• Social media graphics + reusable templates
• Real-world mockups (truck, signage, apparel, website, etc.)

We Added On:
• Custom-built print package to support his startup needs (yard signs, business cards, apparel, etc.)

The goal was to give him more than just a logo, a solid foundation he can actually grow with as he builds his business. Helping young entrepreneurs get started the right way is always something I’ll support!

OKAYYYY…HERE WE GO!! 🤭👀📚🍪

This is the announcement I’ve been hinting at and I’ve been DYING to share it!!!

I put something together for Teacher Appreciation Week that is SO close to my heart.

I’m partnering with Honey Bee Bakery to celebrate the teachers at Salem Church Elementary School 💛

And when I say full circle…I mean FULL. CIRCLE.

This is the SAME school I went to. The same school where I got picked as a kid to help paint the front entrance, AND NOW I get to come back as a business owner and pour back into the teachers there?! 🥹 Like…what?! 😭

This is exactly why I started Beyond Business. Not just to design, but to show up, support my community and the people and businesses within, and create moments just like this.

I put this together and I teamed up with an AMAZING local bakery to help me bring it to life in the sweetest way 🍪 & we’re not done…

Teachers, we appreciate you more than you know, seriously! The love, guidance, and time you pour into your students truly matters. You never know who you’re shaping 🧡

🤯1,500 followers…and I started this business back in 2020, then got on social media in 2021.

If you know me personally, then you know I’ve always been creative; drawing, painting, even trying to start a little fashion line as a kid. One of my favorite memories is being selected in elementary school during my 5th grade year to help paint the front entrance and at 32, that still makes me smile.

Over time, that creativity turned into graphic design, and I fell in love with not just what I could create, but how it made people feel about their businesses.

But once I got into this field, I also saw how little support small business owners actually get. So, after years of working in offices, operations, and behind the scenes of businesses…I knew I didn’t want to JUST “design.”

I wanted to actually help people, guide them, and show up the way I’d hope someone would for me.

So hitting 1.5K followers, I’m NOT just brushing past that. I’m genuinely SO grateful, happy, & excited for the continued growth too!

Because this feels bigger than a number. To everyone who’s supported, referred me, or trusted me with your business, THANK YOU 🧡

The timing of this couldn’t be more perfect either, because what I’m announcing on Monday is something really close to me, and it ties back to where all of this started. 🍪📚
