Nekisha Butterfly was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and is currently residing in Matteson, IL. I am the mother of my 2 most precious blessings from GOD Dayvon and Kierra. Being a mother and a wife, I lost who I was as an individual and was on my way to discovering who Nekisha was as a woman. I have always been a nurturer at heart and a mama bear too many younger family members and friends. I did
not know that throughout my journey in life, it was preparing me for my pathway to Life Coaching. My purpose and passion are to help guide those women who need guidance on rebuilding confidence, regaining strength, healing the soul, and walking through their new transitions. It is also my passion to work with young women who are transforming into womanhood and helping all women flourish into beautiful butterflies. I have always lived by one of my favorite bible verses, Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” By leaning on my everlasting love for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and “my daddy” GOD! I knew that I would come back swinging at every obstacle that stood in my way, which includes surviving Cervical Cancer. I am currently a Behavioral Health Coordinator for a major healthcare organization in Chicago and the Executive Director for women’s empowerment and professional networking organization Chicago 300 Black Women. I have achieved my bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration and master’s degree in Public Health. I use the symbol of the butterfly to represent the transformation I went through to get to where I am today. A butterfly represents resurrection, change, renewal, hope, endurance, and the courage to embrace a new and better life for yourself; that is what I want to help women achieve.
