With the release of the 7th edition of the guide from , a lot of people are confused if the exams have changed.

The exam pattern for the exam changed back in January 2021. Where PMI condensed the 5 process groups to 3 - , & Environment.
The exam now includes a lot more questions on and the fast growing environments .

A lot of students misunderstand that the PMBOK is THE book to study from, for the exam. It isnt! Infact PMI says the same. It is a recommended book, published by PMI. A lot of students do pass the PMP exam, without ever reading the PMBOK guide as well!!

The PMBOK 7th edition maybe referenced from later this year or maybe next year, which the PMI will announce . Until then, if you want to, use the PMBOK for the exam, use the 6th edition.
