Friends, 2020 has been a year full of life transitions and deep reflection for me. One thing I know about myself is that when life has gone sideways, I revert back to the things that bring me calm, peace and great joy: God (first & always), ballet and writing. I have been writing blogs and devotions over the last 4-5 years, but there's been a deeper longing to take my writing to the next level. While we've all been sheltered-in-place, I've been laboring and nesting with my new baby: an editorial service that offers stellar editing, consulting and coaching services for aspiring writers and businesses.
Today, I am realizing a dream; I am launching my very first business, Precision Editing! I was intentional about launching on this historic and beautiful day of celebrating freedom for folks whose skin has been kissed by nature's sun and Son; freedom from the chains that once bound us; freedom to curate, build and own property and businesses for ourselves; freedom to unapologetically express ourselves in the beautiful, unique way that we do, live and love BLACK! Today, as we celebrate Juneteenth, the liberation of Black people living in America, I ask you to also celebrate with me the launch of Precision Editing.
