Dubsado or Honeybook? 🤔

It depends 🤷🏽‍♀️. The difference between the two? Mainly customization.

Dubsado is crazzzzzy customizable + you can make the client portal look/ feel align with your branding. Set up is a pain in the ass and there’s a steep learning curve... definitely a task you’ll want to delegate [but so worth it].

Honeybook can be set up in 30 minutes. It’s super simple, little to no learning curve and has a clean + crisp look. UI is client friendly.

This client is making the switch from Honeybook to Dubsado because we’re focusing in on fine tuning customer interaction/ automation to cultivate a more luxury client experience. ✨

Saw this on the sidewalk yesterday & thought of Brown Door. The urge to shrink to a socially digestible size has crept up on me more than i’d like to admit. Close friends had me questioning if the way I envisioned showing up for my clients was the ‘right’ way before I even got started. 🤦🏾‍♀️

“You can’t only work with minorities, white people pay better” “Eventually you’ll have to work with people you despise” “You should keep your personality and business separate” [not even sure how I allowed this negativity in my space 🥴🤮].

As Brown Door has grown, I’ve found myself meeting the most amazing creatives running businesses which go against the grain of the societal norm. I’m grateful this showed me it’s possible to hold space for my most authentic self in my business. 🥺💓

I find my power through resisting the call to make myself small, being grounded in love/ authenticity & doing good business with good people. 🌱

TLDR: f**k limiting beliefs + my books are open for virtual assistance again 💫
