I’ve built some incredible partnerships with therapists lately, and honestly, it’s been one of the most meaningful collaborations I didn’t see coming.
They’re referring clients who are in uncertain places in their careers. Not just job searching. We’re talking about people navigating identity shifts, burnout, transitions, and “what’s next” moments.
And that’s where I come in.
Through career counseling, resume strategy, LinkedIn positioning, and guidance on where and how to apply, I get to support people in translating clarity into action.
What I deeply respect is this. The therapeutic process creates the space for healing, reflection, and self-awareness. My role is to help them take that clarity and build something tangible from it.
Because let’s be honest. Work is not separate from our well-being.
Research shows that job loss, career uncertainty, and workplace stress can significantly impact mental health, with studies linking unemployment to increased rates of depression, anxiety, and even a 63 % higher risk of mortality.
So when we support someone in their career journey, we are not just helping them find a job. We are helping them reclaim stability, confidence, and direction.
I’m grateful to be an extension of these therapists doing such important work. This collaboration is powerful, and it’s changing lives in ways that go far beyond a resume.
And that’s the work I care about.
