Saturday night, Soldier Field welcomed the Foo Fighters and thousands of fans for an incredible night of live music in Chicago.

Monterrey Security congratulates our longtime partners at the John G. Shedd Aquarium on the successful arrival of four rescued beluga whales in Chicago.

This extraordinary operation reflects not only the careful planning and ex*****on of the Shedd team, but also the aquarium’s continued commitment to rescuing and caring for animals in need.

Monterrey Security was honored to support this delicate operation from the planning stages through the whales’ safe arrival at Shedd Aquarium. Our involvement included coordinating with relevant public safety agencies throughout the planning process, providing onsite support at O’Hare International Airport, delivering secure vehicle es**rt services for the motorcade convoy from O’Hare to Shedd Aquarium, and providing onsite security during the unloading and movement of the whales.

This support was provided in addition to our ongoing daily security operations at Shedd Aquarium.

Today we recognize two outstanding leaders whose commitment to public service has helped shape the Chicago Police Department and our city.

Congratulations to Superintendent Larry Snelling on an exceptional career spanning more than three decades of dedicated service to the people of Chicago. Throughout his tenure, Superintendent Snelling led with professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to public safety. On behalf of everyone at Monterrey Security, we thank him for his service and wish him continued success and fulfillment in retirement.

We also extend our congratulations to Fred Waller as he once again assumes the role of Interim Superintendent of the Chicago Police Department.

Fred joined Monterrey Security in 2020 following an outstanding 34-year career with the Chicago Police Department, where he concluded his service as Chief of Patrol. As our Director of Strategic Initiatives, he brought invaluable leadership, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to serving others. In May 2023, Fred took a leave of absence from Monterrey Security to answer the call to public service once again, initially serving as Interim Superintendent before supporting Superintendent Snelling throughout his administration.

We are incredibly proud to see Fred once again entrusted with leading the Chicago Police Department during this transition. His experience, character, and dedication to the men and women of CPD make him exceptionally well suited for this responsibility.

Congratulations to both Superintendent Snelling and Interim Superintendent Waller. Thank you for your decades of service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to keeping Chicago safe. We wish you both continued success in the next chapter of your distinguished careers.

Since 2025, Monterrey Security has been honored to provide security services at the CITGO Lemont Refinery, CITGO Corporate Offices in Downers Grove, and the CITGO Cicero Lubricants Plant. Yesterday, Monterrey Security was proud to support the Bank of America Chicago 13.1 Half Marathon as thousands of runners, spectators, volunteers, and event personnel came together for an incredible day across Chicago's West Side.

A special thank you to Chicago Event Management for producing another outstanding event and for their continued partnership and trust in Monterrey Security. We are grateful for the opportunity to help support one of Chicago's premier running events and to work alongside such a talented team.
