We’re very happy to welcome back El Condor for the second year in a row at Peru Forum!

Founded in 1996 in Logan Square, El Condor is a family-owned store that has become a trusted source of Ecuadorian and Peruvian products across the Midwest.

They will be joining us from 12:00–6:00pm during the Forum. You’ll be able to explore a wide range of products: from fresh ingredients like ají amarillo, to beverages such as chicha morada, maracuyá, and Inca Kola, as well as staple grains like maíz morado and choclo.

We are honored to welcome Francisco Sagasti, former President of Peru, as one of the keynote speakers at Peru Forum 2026.

His virtual keynote, “Democracy from the Inside: Institutions, Trust, and Costs of Fragility,” will offer a reflection on democratic institutions, governance, and citizen trust in Peru, drawing from his experience leading the country during a period of crisis.

Building on the Forum’s discussion on institutional strengthening, this conversation will invite us to reflect on the constraints of governance and the safeguards needed to sustain democracy in our country.
