A former White House correspondent is not prepared for work in the retail sector...

In celebration of International Women's Day, Peet's Workers Group joined the Latino Union of Chicago at a rally for undocumented immigrants, Coming Out of The Shadows.

There was lots of very moving testimony by individuals scheduled for deportation, as well as families who've had loved ones snatched from their homes and sent away.

Sign the Petition because it is inhumane to keep people locked up in solitary without access to other people, fresh air, commissary and medical care. It does not rehabilitate people and leads to more violence.

It's always good to find more media attention being paid to the s*xual harassment of low-wage workers.

"Since s*xual harassment is about power, not s*x, it's not surprising that low-wage women in lousy jobs get a lot of it."

The restaurant industry is the largest source of s*xual harassment claims, while Florida's Coalition of Immokalee Workers says harassment of women farmworkers is pervasive.

Breaking: Peet's Coffee & Tea responds to the public outcry over employee retaliation

Peet's Workers Group would like to thank everyone who wrote and called the company in support of the campaign.

After being verbally threatened and issued a write-up by managment in September, Candice Spatz has just been given the first ever Employee of the Month Award (and a $50 gift card!) at Peet's, Chicago!

We are extremely grateful to the community for their support, and proud of Candice for refusing to be intimidated!
