I'm excited to be working with Jens Jensen Gardens in Evanston and pleased that the Evanston RoundTable published my article about the group's efforts to preserve Jensen's legacy in Evanston.

Once neglected, the Evanston legacy of landscape architect Jens Jensen is being revived on the grounds of the Harley Clarke mansion.

You're invited to visit the Bagley House in Hinsdale, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's earliest commisisons. The new owner Safina Uberoi, an award winnning documentary film maker hired Jean Follett and me to research the house and help create an exhibit about Grace Bagley, an extraordinary social reformer whose life and contributions have been forgotten. Attendance is free, and reservations are not needed. However, the exhibit is only open for a brief period.

Finding Grace: Rediscovering the Life and Contributions of Social Reformer Grace Bagley.

Location: Bagley House, 121 S. County Line Road, Hinsdale, Illinois.

Please join me for a vitural Chicago Architecture Center Program on Tuesday, August 15, at 6:00 pm. The program is about an early FLW house in Hinsdale that has been save from demolition. In researching the house we learned that the original client-- Grace Bagley-- was a very important, but long forgotten social reformer.
