THE STEEPWATER BAND GETS BACK TO WORK ~
After an eight month hiatus, THE STEEPWATER BAND is excited to announce their return to the stage and studio in 2019. Appropriately titled, the BACK TO WORK WINTER TOUR will feature the band returning to familiar clubs in familiar towns around the Midwest, reconnecting with fans and performing songs from their critically acclaimed latest album “Shake Your Faith,” along with many other favorites from their extensive live repertoire. All the while, the band will hold writing and recording sessions, during which they will begin work on their next album (LP / CD / MP3) for a planned release in late 2019. “The band is re-energized and ready to get back to doing what we do. After 20 years together, it’s really all that we know!” said TSB drummer and founding member Joe Winters. The band celebrated their 20th Anniversary earlier this year with a special show in their hometown of Chicago, before taking the aforementioned hiatus, a first in the band’s history. Noteworthy is the addition of new bassist Joe Bishop, a longtime friend of the band, who will hold down the groove alongside Winters on drums, veteran guitarist Eric Saylors, and vocalist / guitarist Jeff Massey. With more shows TBA into the spring and summer months, The Steepwater Band looks forward to getting BACK TO WORK, and hopes to see YOU at a show soon!
