What is one thing you've been denying yourself because of mommy guilt that you're finally giving yourself permission to do?

"I am responsible for my own response."

Mommy guilt often shows up when you feel torn between caring for everyone else and caring for yourself. It whispers that every moment spent investing in your dreams, resting, healing, or growing is somehow taking away from your children.

But here's the truth: your children do not need a depleted version of you. They need a healthy, whole, growing version of you.

How I navigate mommy guilt is by reminding myself that taking care of myself is not abandoning my family—it's strengthening my ability to serve them. I am teaching my children that women can nurture others without neglecting themselves.

Moms, it's time to give yourselves permission.

Permission to rest.
Permission to dream.
Permission to pursue your purpose.
Permission to say no without guilt.
Permission to grow beyond the version of yourself that only existed to meet everyone else's needs.

You are allowed to be a mother and still be a woman with goals, desires, gifts, and a calling.

The moment you stop apologizing for becoming who God created you to be is the moment mommy guilt begins to lose its power.

🌱 Your growth is not a betrayal of your family.

One of the hardest things I’ve had to overcome is grieving the old version of myself.

The woman who only knew how to survive.
The woman who felt guilty for wanting more.
The woman who believed she had to choose between family and purpose.

God is teaching me that becoming a Proverbs 31 woman isn’t about perfection.

It’s about transformation.

📖 “She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.” — Proverbs 31:16

A few things God has been teaching me lately:

✨ You don’t have to choose between your family and your calling.

✨ Your children benefit from seeing you pursue God-sized dreams.

✨ Growth often requires grieving who you were to embrace who you’re becoming.

✨ Mommy guilt cannot sit in the driver’s seat of your purpose.

✨ Faith means moving forward even when you don’t have all the answers.

Today, I’m grateful for the support system God has placed around me.

My son and daughter continue to change my life every day. They taught me unconditional love, resilience, and the importance of building a legacy worth leaving behind.

And when life gets hard?

God.
Family.
Faith.

That’s what keeps me moving forward.

I want to invite you to stop minimizing The gift is the doorway.Love is the language. And God is the One ministering through it all. ✨

Your gift was never meant to be hidden.God can use what you naturally love to do to heal, encourage, teach, and reach others. 🤍

Stop Waiting for Permission” by Stephen Chandler truly challenged me as both a leader and a softball coach.

One of the chapters that stood out to me most was “Too Big To Do It Alone.” That chapter deeply resonated with how I lead my team because greatness is never built in isolation. Every successful team requires trust, vision, communication, and people willing to work together toward something bigger than themselves.

As a coach, I understand that leadership is not just about giving instructions — it is about creating confidence in the people who are depending on you.

My favorite chapter was “Wise Leap of Faith.”
The quote that stayed with me was:
“There’s never been a home run without a swing of the bat.”

That immediately connected to softball for me. If you never take the swing, you never give yourself the opportunity to reach the base, score the run, or experience growth. Fear cannot move runners forward. Action does.

That principle mirrors leadership, faith, business, motherhood, and personal development.

Pastor Chandler’s formula for a confident leap:
Wisdom + Peace + Counsel
…perfectly aligns with my coaching philosophy.

As a softball coach, my girls depend on me to know when it is safe to steal a base, when to stay planted, when to advance, and when to trust the next play. Especially in moments where we have runners on first and third, every decision requires unity, timing, communication, and trust.

That immediately reminded me of 1 Samuel 14:7

“Do all that you have in mind,” his armor-bearer said. “Go ahead; I am with you heart and soul.”

That scripture reflects the culture I want to build within my team. I want my players to know:

• I have their best interest.

• I am committed to their development.

• We m

Grateful for communities that remind creators they don’t have to build alone. 🌱

Thank you to the & The Charm community for allowing me to feel seen, heard, encouraged, and supported during a season where I’ve been rebuilding both personally and creatively.

As a mom, content creator, and entrepreneur, spaces like this matter more than people realize. 💚

Sometimes the right community doesn’t just help your brand grow — it helps you grow. From creative encouragement to authentic connection, this is truly the kind of supportive network every creator deserves to experience.🐦

If you’re in a season of rebuilding, rediscovering your voice, or learning how to show up online authentically while balancing motherhood and business… keep going. Your people will find you. 🪺

Happy Mother’s Day to every woman who has nurtured, carried, covered, comforted, prayed, protected, rebuilt, and loved deeply. 🌷

To the mothers raising children, the women believing to become mothers, the dog moms and pet moms, the aunties, grandmothers, mentors, mother figures, daughters caring for aging parents, and those honoring a mother or mother-in-love here on earth or resting in Heaven — today we celebrate the beauty of your love and sacrifice.
Some hearts are full today, and some hearts are grieving quietly. Some are celebrating new life, while others are remembering what was lost. Yet through every season, God still sees the tenderness of a woman who pours herself out for others.
“Her children arise and call her blessed…”

Today, my prayer is that someone pours back into you.
That the woman who is always strong finds rest.
That the one who carries everyone else is reminded she is carried by God too.
That love finds you in simple ways today — through a phone call, a warm meal, laughter, flowers, quiet peace, or even the gentle presence of your fur baby curled beside you. 🕊️
Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of motherhood in all the ways it shows up in our lives. Thank You for women who nurture with wisdom, strength, compassion, and grace. For the mothers who are tired, restore them. For the grieving mothers, comfort them. For the women missing their mothers today, hold them close. For the women still praying for children, encourage their hearts. Let every woman know she is seen, valued, and deeply loved by You.
May today be filled with peace, gratitude, sweet memories, and overflowing love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🤍

From your sister in Christ:
May your cup be refilled today the same way you have poured into so many others. 🌸

Afro-Caribbean couture meets museum-level fine art. 🤎✨

As an immigrant from Panama and a descendant of The Bahamas, this look is personal. Every color, texture, and detail was intentionally chosen to reflect my lineage, my ancestors, and the cultures that shaped me. From the Panamanian flower worn proudly on my ear to the wooden jewelry symbolizing legacy and craftsmanship, this moment represents the beauty of being Afro-Caribbean, diasporic, and deeply rooted in culture.
This is more than couture.

This Met Gala-inspired couture look was deeply influenced by the works of Al Sprague and Maxwell Taylor — two artists whose work captures the rhythm, resilience, and beauty of Caribbean identity.

Inspired by “Cumbia Cerrada,” the gown carries the spirit of Panamanian pollera culture, La Cumbia, and the elegance of Afro-Latin movement. The layered ruffles, dramatic motion, and floral storytelling honor the women of Panama — their strength, grace, and celebration. 🇵🇦

The bold textures and carved artistic details were inspired by “Down and Out (It’s Better In The Bahamas)” by Maxwell Taylor, inc

This is migration, music, survival, artistry, ancestry, and elegance woven together on one canvas
