The 3P Youth Experience: Purpose, Potential & Pathways

Today nearly 30 teens started their
3P Certified Journey at the Emmett Till Memorial Center in Summit-Argo, IL. The session focused on the first P-Purpose: Discovering What Drives You. The Teens showed up with so much honesty and perspective, particularly during our signature "REAL TALK" session.

Throughout the day teens were reminded that purpose is not about having life fully figured out. Purpose begins by paying attention to:
-what moves you
-what matters to you
-what gives you hope
-and the voice already inside you

Thank you to every student, parent, volunteer, facilitator, and partner who helped make today meaningful.
This was only the beginning.

🎤 Includes a powerful Spoken Word Experience: “Speak Your Purpose”

Team LOC (Lights On Collective) took time out yesterday evening to personally recognize and encourage its “2026 Youth Light Award”recipients; Derrick Clark (St. Laurence High School) & Elizabeth Somuah (Chicago Christian High School). Although Elizabeth was away on a school trip, we were happy to connect with her dad!

Both Elizabeth and Derrick received $1000 in support of their upcoming Senior Proms and the call to action to “Always Be The Light That Creates a Path For Others to Follow.”
