Setting boundaries is hard to do.

Admit it, it's hard to set boundaries with friends and family, and now we need to do it with our clients.

Here are 10 ways you can set boundaries with your clients to help your business run smoother and stay profitable.

🎯 In your contract with your client (and yes, you should have one) include, and make it clear:

📍 How you handle late fees.

📍 Is there an option for cancellations.

📍 What are your terms for working together.

📍 Delivery Date(s).

📍 How you handle Funds Not Available.

📍 How are you going to deliver the product or service.

📍 How will you communicate with your client.

📍 Payment schedules.

📍 How long you will be working together.

📍 What if your client is a no-show.

🛑 Don't forget:

✅ Have them agree to your policies and procedures.
✅ Have a paper trail.

**10 TRICKS THAT WILL CHANGE THE WAY YOU USE GOOGLE DOCS**

Tip 1 - Quickly create new documents and sheets in Google Docs

In a new URL bar and type in:

🎯 Docs.new- for a new Word document.
🎯 Doc.new - for a new Word document.
🎯 Sheet.new - for a new Excel document.
🎯 Slide.new - for a new PowerPoint Slide.
🎯 Meet.new - to start a new Google meeting.
🎯 Form.new - to create a new form.
🎯 Site.new- to start a new site.

**Bonus**: You can also start a new Canva document by typing in "canva.new"

**Do you want to track and display your word count?**

In your Google doc go to:

✔️ Tools
✔️ Word Count
✔️ Select “Display Word Count While Typing.”
The word counter will be located in the lower-left corner of the page.

**Transcribe your files:**

🎤 Tools
🎤 Voice typing
🎤 Make sure you are near your microphone or have a headset plugged into your computer for better results while transcribing.

**Add your signature to a document:**
✍️ Insert
✍️ Drawing
✍️ New

Under the line option menu, select **“Scribble.”**. You are now ready to draw your signature with your mouse.

Once you are finished, select “save and close,” and the signature image is now in your document, and you can move and resize, and you need.
