Thrilled to have a second submission selected to be included in The Chicago Graphic Design Club's "What Chicago Means to Me" poster collection.

My poster submission celebrates the history of just two of the many accomplished poets sharing their lived experiences in Chicago.

Honored to have my submissions shown alongside the works of passionate Chicago designers. Check them out at: https://chicagographicdesign.club/chicago/

Thanks to the Chicago Graphic Design Club for continuing to build community in the Chicago creative community.

Feeling fortunate to have my poster submission featured by the Chicago Graphic Design Club. They are sponsoring a call for posters illustrating "What Chicago Means To Me."

My concept celebrates Chicago blues by weaving together the traditional needlepoint theme of "Home Sweet Home" with the title of Robert Johnson's iconic Chicago blues anthem, "Sweet Home Chicago," to represent what Chicago means to me.”

Took in the Carlos Cortez Centennial Exhibition at the National Mexican Museum Of Fine Art. Loved seeing his original wood cut blocks and learning more about his community activisim and community building through creativity. Several wonderful tribute artworks including the piece I saw several weeks ago during the studio open house by John Pittman Weber.

Perfect day to explore Pilsen’s creative community during the 18th Street Pilsen Open Studios. Saw some great posters. Enjoyed my talk with print maker John Pittman Weber. I heard about his different printing mediums and also his Grandmother who wrote Yiddish poetry and risqué “pot boilers.”

Sadly the Senior Living company for which I worked since 2018 as the Director of Creative Services will be shutting down soon.

This gives me the opportunity to find my new "next."

My intention is to work for another mission driven organization. I find the work very rewarding.

My goal is to find an organization where I can contribute in a variety ways on a variety of project type ... where every day is different.

For the last five years I was lucky enough to work on a diverse group of campaigns and collaborated with many amazing team members. To illustrate this variety, I am sharing the video below showing just a small sampling of logos I developed.

Please keep me in mind if you hear of any creative development leadership opportunities.

Some cool retro and vintage finds at an estate sale in Glenview this morning. Had a nice conversation with the homeowner’s sons. They shared with me that their father operated an electronics repair shop on Milwaukee Ave back in the day. So many interesting electronics related items all branded from like the 60’s.

Insightful evening at Monotype’s Brand Talks.

Wonderful insights shared by James Somerville and LaShun Tines.

With a deep dive into font design with Terrace Weinzierl.

Great night building community.

Since the announcement of Enlivant Senior Living's closing, I have had the opportunity to find my new "next."

I feel my creative, strategic and leadership skill sets can add value to most any vertical.

During my 5 years as the Director of Creative Services at Enlivant, I developed a real affinity for marketing in the senior living space. I love the mission, the people and the challenge.
