Chicago Latino Arts and Culture Network Est: 2022

The Chicago Latinos Arts & Culture Network seeks to visibly enhance Latino arts in Chicago and to raise awareness of the diversity among Latino arts and culture organizations.

Coming together as a community hits different.

There’s something powerful about a room full of Latine arts organizations showing up for one another. The October workshop reminded us why we do this work in the first place, building spaces where our voices, ideas, and lived experiences can grow side by side. When someone shared, “It’s really beautiful to come together with other Latine arts organizations,” it captured the heart of the night perfectly.

We dug into what it actually takes to build a development plan, strengthen fundraising practices, and set up sustainable growth for new and emerging nonprofits. The conversations were honest, the questions were bold, and the support in the room was real.

This is how our community moves forward, together. ✨

This is just the beginning — the first of three recaps capturing our journey together. 🎥

The Chicago Latino Arts & Culture Network (CLACN) hosted its first event outside of the annual summit. On October 7th at the National Museum of Mexican Art, we gathered with artists, organizers, and changemakers for the workshop “Creating a New Development Program for New Non-Profits.” The energy was real, the stories were powerful, and the vision was clear.

“It wouldn’t be possible to grow without groups like this.”

Here’s to community building, resource sharing, and helping each other become the forces of change we were meant to be. Stay tuned — more moments coming. ✨
