Happy Small Business Saturday, y’all. But today? I’m not just celebrating a business. I’m celebrating a MIRACLE. ✨
Let me tell you something real quick. 🧵
There was a version of me that packed up everything she had, moved to Los Angeles chasing a dream, poured her whole heart into a business — and watched it fall apart.
Not slowly. All at once.
I remember sitting in that silence thinking… is this it? Was I not built for this?
But God had a different answer.
He said: “Get up. We’re not done.”
So I got up. I relocated to Chicago with nothing but faith, a vision, and a name that hadn’t been built yet.
And I built it anyway.
Bedazzled Productions LLC was born — not from perfect conditions, not from having it all figured out — but from the wreckage of what didn’t work, and the audacity to believe something better was waiting on the other side.
There’s a Mariah Carey song called “Nothing Is Impossible” and I swear that song was written for every single one of us who ever had to start over.
On the days when I wanted to quit — and yes, those days exist even now — I’d press play and let those words remind me:
Nothing. Is. Impossible.
Not for me. Not for you. Not for any of us who are still showing up.
So today, on Small Business Saturday, I want to speak directly to the small business owner who is reading this in the middle of their hard chapter:
The failed launch. The slow season. The city that didn’t work out. The people who didn’t believe in you. The version of yourself you had to bury to become who you are now.
That is not your ending. That is your origin story.
The setback was the setup.
The loss was the lesson.
The relocation was the redirection.
You were not built to be small. You were built to bedazzle this world with everything God placed inside of you.
Keep going, love. The best chapter hasn’t been written yet. 🖤💎
Happy Small Business Saturday from your girl Dymond Onasis & Bedazzled Productions LLC.
If this touched you — share it. Someone out there needs to read this today. 🙏🏾
