WEATHER ALERT: please be prepared for tonight's forecasted severe weather. There will likely be plenty of power outages to go around. Remember that while you may have power, the remote location where your service comes from may not.

[3:15pm, Monday, 04/13] - A *tornado watch* has been issued for a good chunk of central WI through 10pm this evening. Widespread thunderstorms are expected to develop across the watch area late this afternoon into this evening, with all severe weather hazards possible. Please have multiple ways to receive severe weather alerts today and tonight.

Storms will initially pose a large to very large hail threat, with a tornado threat developing as storms mature and remain more discreate. Storms are likely to congeal into one or more lines/clusters later this evening into the overnight, posing a primary threat of damaging winds and perhaps an embedded tornado. Heavy rainfall and frequent lightning are also expected with all storms today. Flash flooding may occur where storms repeat this evening and overnight.
