This was a fun one!
One of our clients brought in this K45SS tilt-head to be serviced. It was handed down to her from her mother, it means a lot to her.
This mixer is at least 42 years old!
She went through a long overdue and well deserved spa process including some new gears, gaskets, grease, cleaning and a polish.
Now she is back to full swing and singing like a song!

This Epicurean model is over 26 years old and still in great shape!
It came in for a service and because it was skipping/ slipping when mixing.
Upon disassembly and inspection it was found that it needed all new gearing and a new motor. The gears and motor for this model are discontinued due to age. So, we customized this unit to be able to accept the new upgraded parts.
She is ready to get back to work!

This 20 year old tilt mixer came in for a service and cleaning this week and she sure needed it!
The grease had congealed and was no longer lubricanting the gears properly.
We also got the speeds adjusted and tuned back to OEM spec.
She is back up and running smoothly again now!

Remember, your Kitchenaid mixer should be serviced every 1-3 years depending on use to avoid gear damage.

This unit came in for a service and grinding noise.
It was determined that the hub gear had stripped out due to an aftermarket front attachment being used. 😬

It is always a good idea to use genuine KitchenAid accessories whenever possible to avoid issues like this.
So if you hear something that doesnt sound quite right, do not keep using it. Send it in to get checked out to avoid further damage.

We will get this one fixed up and on its way home in no time!
