Be very mindful of how your mixer is used!
This mixer was used to strain tomatoes using the front hub attachment. The water/ juices drained/ leaked into the upper gear housing. This watered down the grease and allowed mold to grow internally. Additionally, it resulted in the motor shorting out. Using OEM Whirlpool/ KitchenAid attachments is very important as well as knowing the proper operating procedures.
The kicker is, this mixer was only a couple years old and otherwise, was in great condition externally!

Is your KitchenAid mixer getting loud, leaking oil, or just not running like it used to? 👀

Most mixers I open up have NEVER been serviced — and this picture on the left is an example of what I find inside the machine.
Over time, the grease breaks down and separates, leading to:
• Noise
• Oil leaks
• Premature gear wear & overheating

I offer complete tear-down, cleaning, inspection, repair, and food-grade re-greasing to bring your mixer back to new condition.
