That includes one of our co-founders, Jim Wulfeck! Jim highlights his service in the US Army as an "igniter" for his passion in studying the challenges of management & leadership. To this day, Jim incorporates and uses the many lessons of training, mentoring, and decision-making from the Army's Leadership Manual, BE KNOW DO.

At work, I have the opportunity to do what I do best every day?!?

Simple question, right? Yet knowing what you do best and having an opportunity to do your best every day many times isn't top of mind as we get in the grind for every day work. Knowing and having the opportunity means applying your talent, skills, and knowledge to the work you do. You are empowered and act with confidence, direction, and hope when given an opportunity to perform at your best.

Some points to consider when responding to this question:
Do you know what part of your job you enjoy the most?
Do you know your strengths and what you're great at?
Have you discussed with your boss what you would like to do more of in your role?
Do you receive feedback and guidance from your boss to identify specific ways to apply your talents to workplace performance?
Do you know what distracts you from being as effective and productive as you want to be?

It's the QUALITY of Managers and Team Leaders that is the SINGLE BIGGEST FACTOR in an organization's LONG-TERM SUCCESS!

What is Work Performance? What is Great Work Performance?

Plain and simple, work performance is the process of completing an action, task, or function. It’s when an individual is assigned a task that is needed to be completed in the greatest possible way and someone (a manager) evaluates the work performed.

However, people often misunderstand performance with productivity; both are different concepts.

Productivity is defined as the state or quality of producing something or the amount of work an individual may have completed within a particular timeframe whereas, Performance is the action or process of carrying out or accomplishing an action, task, or function. And Great Work Performance is to get the best or greatest result while focusing on continuous improvement.
