Got to stop in and check out the mares and colts turned out at X Cross X Ranch . Thankful for some good moisture to start Greenin up. Colts are starting to shape up!

Bucket baby is doing good, yep I learned that too. Colts drink out of a bucket better than they do a bottle. She’s almost 3 weeks old. Named her KK(knee kicker, karate kid, kicking Karen, just depends on the day) she was feisty at first but is gentling down fast

Sometimes it ain’t all sunshine and roses. We lost a mare yesterday and got one on the bucket now. Glad to have a wife that will go out at 10:30 at night to feed her.
