🚽💦 PLUMBING MYTH TUESDAY 💦🚽

MYTH: “Flushable wipes are safe to flush.”

❌ FALSE!

Just because a package says “flushable” doesn’t mean it’s plumbing friendly.

Unlike toilet paper, wipes do not break down quickly in water. Over time, they can snag on pipes, collect grease and debris, and create stubborn clogs that lead to backups, sewer problems, and costly repairs.

At Triple J Plumbing, we’ve pulled countless wipes from clogged drains and sewer lines that were labeled “flushable.”

✅ The only things that should be flushed are:
🚽 Human waste
🧻 Toilet paper

Everything else belongs in the trash. If you have been flushing wipes give us a call to have us come do a camera inspection of your lines to make sure you don’t have them hanging out in your drain lines! Preventive measures now can reduce major costs later!
