“Eagles & Chickens Have Different Conversations”
As a consultant, I have conversations with both Eagles & Chickens...I only invest my time working with Eagles!
Let’s talk about chickens first...
1. Chickens live in a barnyard. ( usually with other chickens)
- They are typically caged physically. Every so often they get out, make some noise, and live a very safe and sheltered life. They may produce an egg here and there for someone else to come pick and eat. They complain about their current circumstances but never do anything about it. They walk around leaving “droppings” everywhere they go! Look around you...they are everywhere..lol
2. Eagles 🦅 live in high places (ex. Mountains)...don’t generally flies alone.
- Eagles don’t argue with chickens. When I get on a call with a prospect, I can tell right away whether they are a chicken or an eagle. Eagles are aware of the storm and are willing to fly above their storms( excuses, circumstances, challenges). They are willing to invest the time/resources to doing the necessary work to reach their goals.
Summary: Eagles are “action takers” and chickens are “coop complainers”. Which one are you?
