I am so excited! For the last few months, I’ve been working on bringing sound therapy into my school, and seeing it come together has been incredible.

So far, I’ve been able to bring in over $3,000 worth of materials, including singing bowls, tuning forks, and even a table chime. It’s amazing to think how something that started as an idea is becoming a reality.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned from being in a coaching program(The Child Care Success Company) is that I can do anything I set my mind to. I also learned that it’s okay to ask for help and donations because people really do show up and support you when they believe in your vision.

This experience has reminded me that big things can happen when you take action, believe in yourself, and are willing to ask. I’m excited to see the impact this will have on our students and school community!

Dropped my entire cup of coffee all over myself walking out the door this morning. It’s pouring rain, had to shift a few things around at school, then had a few late arrivals and call-offs. By that point I was fully convinced I was having a horrible day.

I was venting to someone in my life, and they hit me with something I needed to hear:

“You’re not having a horrible day. You’re simply in an understandably negative emotional state and have less tolerance for the stress and frustrations that you normally push past. Walk away and come back if you have to. Or just be okay with feeling uncomfortable and upset. No need to label a whole day full of blessings as ‘bad.’”

That one stopped me for a second.

Sometimes it isn’t a bad life or even a bad day. Sometimes it’s just a bad moment carrying too much weight.

Let me tell y'all about my ECE bestie. 💜

She is always cheering me on, always encouraging me to coach more leaders, share my experiences, and step into the opportunities that come my way. No matter what I'm working on, she's right there saying, "You got this, Michael!"

I am incredibly blessed to have family that supports me, but there's just something special about a bestie who truly understands this field. She celebrates the wins, talks me through the hard days, and never lets me forget what I'm capable of.

In a profession where we spend so much time pouring into others, having someone who pours right back into you is a blessing.

To my ECE bestie—thank you for always believing in me, for always cheering me on, and for reminding me that I can do hard things or anything that we "manifest"

And every time I start doubting myself, I can hear you saying in that sweet Southern accent, "Now Michael, baby... you got this!"
