āœØ Before & After: Calming North Carolina-Inspired Great Room Transformation āœØ

My client wanted a soothing space to hide out from the Ohio winters with plenty of comfortable seating for family and friends to gatherā€¦ so I channeled the gentle coastal beauty of her home state of North Carolina with soft blues, warm neutrals, natural textures, and an airy, light-filled feel.

This transformation features a fresh, cohesive color palette (soft blues, butter yellows, and accents of greens and beige), an oversized sectional for maximum seating and lounging, plus updated lighting, furniture, and accessories that improve the flow. The result is a peaceful, elevated Southern elegance that still feels warm, lived-in, and inviting.

Even with the window treatments still to come, this space already feels like a true sanctuaryā€¦ perfect for relaxing, gathering, or simply soaking in the natural light.

Sunroom transformation in progressā€”and itā€™s already feeling so inviting! šŸŒæāœØ

My clients gave me this under-utilized space with its expansive windows and potential and in return, I promised to bring their vision to life: a warm, cozy retreat inspired by peaceful A-frame cabin vibes.

Soft terracotta tones, plush seating, layered textiles, and thoughtful details are coming together to create the perfect spot to unwind, read, or simply enjoy the beautiful views (hidden by the šŸŒ˜šŸŒŒ).

A few finishing touches are still being added (so close!), but swipe to see the before-and-after progress so far!

Receiving the delivery photos from my clients was bittersweetā€”I was so sad to miss the big day in person, but I was out of town on another job and didnā€™t want them to have to wait for my return to enjoy their beautiful new furnishings. I knew our amazing delivery team would handle everything perfectly, and Iā€™m incredibly grateful to my mom for stepping in to oversee it all on my behalf.
