6 styles of shoes for fall 2026! Yes, you’ve seen some of these before. That’s the point.

When I tell you to invest in a shoe, it’s because I want you wearing it for years, not one season. My glove shoes are going on four years. My tall boots go on every NYC trip. My loafers were on my feet when I filmed this and I had to take them off to show you.

That’s cost per wear doing its job. The shoe isn’t owing you anything.

Let’s talk fall shoes! 🍂

New blog post is up, and I’m walking you through the 6 shoes that will get you through the season: sock bo**ies, flats (four shapes!), loafers, pumps, a low profile sneaker, and the very, very important tall boot.

Fair warning: some of these are carryovers from last year. That’s on purpose. Good shoes stay good, and cost per wear is the whole point.

This one has the smallest price gap we’ve ever done!! 👀

Draped cream top + dark wide-leg jeans + brown bag + n**e heels. Twice. And a difference of $450 between these two looks.

These insanely tall heels actually saved the day! I wanted to share this outfit for you, but didn’t have time to get the jeans shortened a little bit. But I slipped into these bad boys and bam! Legs for days!

They’re 6 inch heels with a 2 inch platform. I am not confident enough anymore to wear these out, but 10 or 15 years ago, I would have worn these all the time.

Can we talk about how much work one belt is doing here?! A boxy black top and wide-leg jeans are a great combo, and the medallion buckle is what gives the whole look a waist and a focal point. It’s the kind of small swap that makes an outfit you’ve worn a hundred times feel fresh again.

And these jeans!! The two-tone panels run straight down the leg, which creates a long vertical line and makes your legs look a mile long. Trust me, that little optical illusion is doing you a favor. Plus they’re such an easy way to try a denim trend without anything feeling too loud.

If you’ve ever been told brown and black don’t go together, spoiler alert: they totally do! The trick is to repeat something to tie them together. Here the gold buckle picks up the gold snaps on the jacket, so the brown leather and black belt feel intentional instead of accidental. Easy peasy.

STEAL THE LOOK: fitted black top + patchwork wide-leg jeans + medallion belt + pointy black boots. Add a brown leather jacket when you want it to feel a little cooler!

A pop of red is the easiest way to make the outfit you already love feel brand new, and you don’t have to buy a single new pair of shoes to do it!! One red cardigan, three totally different looks ❤️

Red is having a real moment for fall 2026, and I’m treating it like a neutral. It looks amazeballs with denim, it’s so pretty peeking out under a cognac suede jacket, and it warms up a plain white tee instantly. If bright color feels scary to you, starting with a knit you can tie, drape, or layer is the lowest-commitment way to test it out. Trust me, you’ll be hooked.

STEAL THE LOOK: white tee + wide-leg jeans + pointy black boots + a red cardigan styled however you’re feeling that day. Over the shoulders, around the waist, or tucked under a jacket so just the cuffs pop.
